Bio:
Two-year starter who earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors and posted 28 tackles with two interceptions, two forced fumbles and 10 pass breakups in 2017. Named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten and made 34 tackles with three interceptions and 11 pass breakups as a junior. Started four games and recorded 32 tackles and five PBUs in 2015. Made two starts as a true freshman and finished with 10 tackles, one sack and one pass breakup.
Pos:
Tough, competitive corner with average size and speed. Smooth transitioning downfield with opponents, effectively positions himself to defend passes and displays a sense of timing on pass breakups. Gets the most from his ability. Effective on coverage units and stands out on special teams.
Neg:
Late reacting to receivers’ moves off the line, which puts him a half step behind. Deep speed is a major concern.
Analysis:
Tindal possesses solid ball skills but average size and speed. He could line up in a zone system where he faces the action and play on coverage units at the next level.
