Bio:
Three-year starter who was named Third Team All-ACC after making 53 tackles (10 for loss) and posting 3.5 sacks in 2017. Tallied 49 tackles (10.5 for loss) and six sacks and earned First Team All-ACC as a junior. Made 45 tackles with two sacks in 2015.
Pos:
Explosive one-gap defender who could line up as a three-technique tackle. Fires off the snap with an explosive first step, plays with phenomenal pad level and works his hands throughout the action. Agile for a big man, flashes athleticism and shows the ability to make plays in space. Slides off blocks to get to the ball carrier, displays solid hand punch and finds ways to defeat blocks. Fluid when asked to twist and stunt. Focused on in the middle of the line but finds ways to penetrate the backfield. Moves well laterally and shows speed in pursuit of the action outside the box.
Neg:
Must develop more moves to disengage from blocks. Presents himself as a first-step lineman. Average pass rusher.
Analysis:
Nnadi was a consistent force on the Florida State defense the past three seasons, and though he comes with size limitations, he offers starting potential in a four-man line as he continues to develop his game.
