Bio:

Named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 and carried 198 times for 1,027 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns in 2017. Rushed for 593 yards and three TDs on 155 carries as a junior. Scored a team-high seven rushing touchdowns and carried 210 times for 1,104 yards while making 31 receptions for 303 yards and three scores in 2015. Named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 as a true freshman and rushed 84 times for 478 yards while scoring eight touchdowns (four rushing).
Pos:
Short but explosive interior ball carrier who does the little things well. Built low to the ground, quick-footed and makes defenders miss. Shifty, keeps his feet moving and always works to pick up positive yardage. Immediately gets back to playing balance off the initial hit, effectively follows blocks and displays burst to the hole. Terrific blocker who squares into defenders and knocks them from their angles of attack. Built low to the ground and runs behind his pads.
Neg:
Lacks corner speed and cannot beat defenders around the perimeter or into the open field. Not a truly creative ball carrier. Best running downhill.
Analysis:
Richard was a very productive college ball carrier and has enough skill to be a rotational back at the next level.
