Incredibly productive college defensive lineman with no real position at the next level. Tough, resilient and instinctive. Quickly locates the ball, moves well laterally and gives effort making plays. Plays with balance, body control and rarely off his feet. Chases the action hard, effectively works his hands and plays with proper pad level. Nicely redirects to the ball handler and wraps up tackling.
Average athlete. Struggles getting off blocks once engaged at the point. Held up by a single opponent. Average lateral pursuit speed.
Walker put up eye-popping numbers last season yet lacks the size to play defensive tackle and speed to be an outside rusher. He’s a situational lineman who may be best playing opposite right tackle.
