Three rounds and 107 picks are in the books. So who made out like bandits on Friday and who didn’t do as well? We take a quick look and name the best value picks from yesterday.

Winners

Green Bay Packers: Terrific job by the organization. In Kevin King and Josh Jones, they got first-round caliber defensive backs in Round 2. In Montravius Adams they got first-round ability in the third round.

New England Patriots: Getting Derek Rivers and Antonio Garcia in the third round was tantamount to highway robbery. Great value selected by an organization that knows how to develop talent. I feel sorry for the rest of the AFC East.

Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Mixon is a risk but the upside is tremendous. Getting Jordan Willis in Round 3 is great value and fits a need.

Tampa Bay Bucs: I pegged Justin Evans as the Bucs' second-round selection and they ended up drafting the safety. He’ll quickly break into the starting lineup. Chris Godwin in Round 3 was just too good to pass up and was a great pick by the franchise.

Los Angeles Chargers: Forrest Lamp in the second frame and Dan Feeney a round later sets up the interior of the offensive line for at least a half-dozen years. In both instances they filled need with value.

Indianapolis Colts: Quincy Wilson was a solid pick and fits a need, though I would’ve preferred Chidobe Awuzie. Tarell Basham will be one of the steals of the second day.

Carolina Panthers: Curtis Samuel in the second round surprised me after they selected Christian McCaffrey in the first. I love the player but wonder why they doubled up on the same type of prospect. Both Taylor Moton in the second round and Daeshon Hall in the third are future starters.

Baltimore Ravens: Tim Williams comes with risk but offers tremendous pass-rush ability, which the Ravens need. Chris Wormley could be a star in their system.

Losers

1) Any teams that drafted a cornerback not named Chidobe Awuzie from pick 34 to pick 60. No one I spoke with has yet to offer an explanation why he fell.

2) The Arizona Cardinals taking Chad Williams in Round 3. Good player but there were better receivers on the board.

3) The New York Jets selecting ArDarius Stewart in the third round when Chris Godwin was still available.
