Backup running back who started most of his junior season with starter Corey Clement injured. Led team with 194 carries for 819 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground in 2015. Rushed for 506 yards and five scores on 91 carries as a senior. Moved from cornerback to running back after his freshman year.
Former walk-on that slowly developed a complete game. Quick-footed, easily cuts back against the grain and loses little momentum changing direction. Patient, quickly turns upfield and will pick and choose his spots on the inside. Outstanding receiver out of the backfield. Gets vertical or contorts to make the difficult reception. Consistently catches the ball with his hands.
Lacks great acceleration. Won’t to pick up much yardage off initial contact or move the pile. Average production. Looked ordinary during Shrine Game practices.
Ogunbowale was a solid rotational back on the college level, and his pass-catching skills could secure him a spot at the next level.
