Bio:
Three-year starter at right guard who was named Second Team All-ACC as a senior in 2016. Earned Honorable Mention All-ACC as a junior. Missed the first 10 games of his redshirt freshman season with a foot injury. Finished his career with 39 consecutive starts.
Pos:
Consistent, durable college blocker with next-level size. Sets with a wide base, keeps his feet moving and stays square. Strong at the point, bends his knees blocking with leverage and controls opponents once engaged in a block. Turns defenders from the line opening up the running lanes. Keeps his head on a swivel, works well with linemates and sees the blitz.
Neg:
Heavy-footed, cannot slide in space and is ineffective blocking in motion.
Analysis:
Isidora is a tough, slug-it-out blocker best in a small area. He has athletic limitations but is a nasty lineman who will do well in a conventional running offense.
