Four-year starter who earned First Team All-American honors as a senior when he allowed just one sack. Started 37 games at right guard before his senior season, when he started four at right guard and five at right tackle. Tough, dominant lineman with the versatility to play guard or center. Strong, gets his hands into opponents and easily rides them from their angles of attack. Displays power in his lower body, drives opponents from the action and opens up big holes for the running game. Explosive, plays with a nasty attitude and works hard to finish blocks. Patient, fundamentally sound and stays square. Bends his knees, blocks with leverage and seals opponents from the play. Shows great blocking vision and works well with linemates.
Lacks range and ineffective any distance from the line of scrimmage. Struggled with concussions last season which forced him to the sidelines.
Feeney was a tremendous college lineman and consistently dominated opponents. He had a terrific week during Senior Bowl practices lining up at both guard and center and moves towards the draft as one of the most NFL-ready blockers available.
