Explosive multi-purpose ball carrier with a versatile game. Patient, methodical and consistently productive. Displays the speed, quickness and agility to easily reach the perimeter, has a burst and picks up big yardage from the line of scrimmage. Makes defenders miss to create extra yardage, works runs and keeps his feet moving. Uses an effective straight arm to knock defenders away. Runs with vision, follows blocks everywhere on the field and weaves through traffic to pick up positive yardage. Displays power in his lower body with the ability to break arm tackles and maintains his running form. Consistently keeps the play in bounds and effectively uses downfield blocks. Terrific pass catcher out of the backfield who displays himself as a legitimate downfield threat.
More of a one-cut ball carrier. Gets in trouble when he runs east/west. Must be more cognizant of blocking assignments.
Cook is a terrific prospect as an interior ball carrier, outside around the perimeter and as a pass catcher out of the backfield. He possesses the tools to become a feature runner on Sundays. If focused on his game, he will have a very productive next-level career.
