Bio:
Made 20 catches for 264 yards as a senior. Set career highs across the board in 2016 with 31 receptions for 489 yards and three touchdowns. Combined to catch 12 passes for 167 yards and two scores during his first two seasons at Oklahoma State.
Pos:
Physically gifted receiver with average production. Sized well, uses his hands to separate from defenders and comes back to the ball to make himself an available target. Uses the sidelines well, lays out or extends to come away with difficult receptions and sacrifices his body to make catches. Quickly releases off the line, runs solid routes and easily adjusts and contorts to errant throws. Gives effort as a blocker.
Neg:
Does not display natural hands or come away with difficult receptions and loses out in battles. Unnecessarily lets the pass get inside him on occasion.
Analysis:
Lacy has next-level size and speed but was often the forgotten man in Oklahoma State’s high-octane passing offense. He needs work on his pass-catching skills but is worth keeping on a practice squad this fall.
