Bio:
Three-year starter named First Team All-Mountain West in 2016 after moving from left guard to center before the season. Earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors as a junior, starting all 12 games at left guard. Named Honorable Mention All-Mountain West in 2014 after starting every game at left guard. Made three starts as a redshirt freshman in 2013.
Pos:
Tough, slug-it-out lineman who can be used at center or guard. Strong, stays square and easily out-positions defenders from the action. Blocks with proper knee bend and pad level, controls opponents once engaged at the point and anchors in pass protection. Keeps his head on a swivel, works to get a pad on defenders and helps out linemates. Effective with the shotgun snap.
Neg:
Ineffective pulling across the line of scrimmage or blocking in motion. Gets tall as the play proceeds. Tends to fall off blocks rather than finish them.
Analysis:
Roullier offers solid size and plays with a nasty temperament but is a small-area blocker with limited athleticism and upside.
