Bio:
Three-year starter who completed 60 percent of his passes and threw for 3,115 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions as a junior. Tossed 24 touchdown passes and completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 2,612 yards with nine INTs in 2016. Posted a 60.1 completion rate and threw for 2,605 yards and 23 touchdowns with eight interceptions as a true freshman.
Pos:
Nice-sized signal caller with a next-level arm. Remains poised as the pocket collapses around him, looks off the safety and displays terrific velocity on passes. Easily gets the ball downfield and gets rid of the ball with a quick release. Quickly moves outside the pocket to avoid the rush, keeps his eyes downfield looking for pass catchers and loses nothing throwing on the move. Effectively sets up screen passes and puts touch on the ball when necessary.
Neg:
Sprays throws and misses wide-open targets. Often throws behind receivers and makes them adjust to make receptions. Overaggressive throwing the ball to covered targets and has a fair number of interceptions.
Analysis:
Litton possesses the size and arm strength to play at the next level but needs work on his overall game. He flashes the ability to make some incredible next-level throws but needs to do it on a consistent basis and stay away from bad decisions.
