Bio:
Two-year starter who caught 20 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns in four games in 2017. Earned First Team All-GLIAC honors and tied for the conference lead with 77 receptions while posting team highs with 1,129 receiving yards and 11 touchdown catches as a junior. Named Second Team All-GLIAC and led Tiffin with 76 catches, 922 receiving yards and 14 receiving TDs in 2015. Caught 26 passes for 292 yards and one score as a true freshman.
Pos:
One-time highly rated receiver who comes off an injury-shortened campaign. Plays with excellent balance and body control and nicely contorts to make receptions in stride. Possesses outstanding focus, tracks the pass in the air and extends his hands to snatch the ball away from his frame. Physical, uses his hands to separate from defenders and fights to come away with difficult catches. Runs well for his size, displays great timing and anticipation on receptions and makes over-the-shoulder receptions downfield.
Neg:
Lacks a quick release off the line of scrimmage. More of a long strider with built-up speed. Runs a lot of go patterns down the field.
Analysis:
Holland was graded as a potential sixth-round pick entering his senior season before his campaign was shortened by injury. He has the size and pass-catching skill to line up as a fourth receiver at the next level if he’s healthy and gets his game back to where it was in 2016.
