Made four starts in 2015 and became a full-time starter as a senior. Earned Second Team All-Big Ten in 2016 after making 28 tackles (three for loss) with four interceptions and 17 pass breakups, which ranked fourth all-time on Michigan’s single-season list.
Tall, productive cornerback with poor speed. Feisty, mixes it up with opponents and works hard defending the throw. Displays solid skill in man coverage, tracks the pass in the air and has a nice move to the throw. Possesses excellent length which he uses to get vertical and knock away the ball. Battles throughout the route mixing up with opponents, shows a decent burst out of his plant and plays heads-up football. Aggressively defends the run and wraps up tackling.
Possesses poor speed and a liability down the field. Struggles covering receivers on crossing patterns. Displays poor hands for the interception. Struggled during Shrine week.
Stribling possesses the physical skills to play on Sunday but comes up short in the areas of speed and athleticism. Thinly built, he could move inside to safety if he gets bigger and stronger.
