Bio:
First-year starter who earned First Team All-Mountain West honors and led the conference with 1,511 receiving yards on 83 catches in 2017 while catching seven touchdowns and receiving an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Named Second Team All-Mountain West and led Boise State with 11 receiving TDs while catching 56 passes for 1,129 yards as a junior. Transferred from junior college prior to the 2016 season.
Pos:
Sure-handed receiver who also helps out as a return specialist. Fluidly releases off the line of scrimmage, stays low out of breaks and comes back to the ball. Works to make himself an available target, displays outstanding timing on receptions and extends to snatch the ball away from his body. Plays heads-up football, shows quickness and keeps plays in bounds after the catch. Gets up in a crowd and contorts to come away with difficult catches. Possesses outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Neg:
Has a thin build and isn’t a big-bodied receiver. Plays to one speed and lacks a burst and the ability to run to deep throws.
Analysis:
Wilson was a consistent pass-catching force at Boise State and nicely projects at the next level as a fourth receiver and special teamer.
