Three-year starter and senior captain named a unanimous All-American in 2016. Won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top interior lineman. Earned First Team All-SEC in 2015. Garnered Freshman All-American consideration in his first year at Alabama in 2014.
Consistent college left tackle who projects to the right side or maybe even guard. Strong, explosive at the point and knocks defenders off the line with violent hand punch. Fundamentally sound, bends his knees and blocks with proper pad level. Anchors at the point, blocks with a wide base and gets movement run blocking. Makes proper use of blocking angles and body positioning to seal the edge.
Stays square and has a wide-bodied build.
Shows stiffness in his game which hurts his ability to finish blocks. Heavy-footed, ineffective blocking in motion and struggles redirecting to opponents on the second level. Lacks footwork off the edge and lateral blocking range. Susceptible to inside moves by opponents.
Robinson is a solid prospect but was overrated throughout his sophomore and junior campaigns. He possesses the size and strength to start at right tackle or guard but has scheme limitations.
