Bio:
Two-year starter who played three different positions in 2017, including both tackle spots and left guard. Started 13 games as a junior, including seven at left tackle and six at right tackle. Made five starts at right tackle in 2015. Started twice at left tackle as a redshirt freshman.
Pos:
Wide-bodied blocker with excellent size who’s best in a small area. Quickly sets up off the snap, stays square and fights with his hands. Patient in pass protection, makes excellent use of angles and body positioning and anchors at the point. Plays with quickness and works blocks.
Neg:
Lacks lateral range and footwork off the edge. Struggles to adjust to defenders and gets exploited by pass rushers.
Analysis:
Kendrick is a size prospect who can only be used at right tackle and may even get looks inside at guard. He comes with average agility and athleticism, but his size alone should get him practice-squad consideration.
