Bio:
First-year starter who earned Third Team All-ACC honors and led Miami in all major receiving categories with 55 receptions for 679 yards and nine touchdowns in 2017, earning an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Started seven games over his first three seasons and combined for 45 receptions, 496 yards and five TDs. Posted 422 punt return yards and one return touchdown in his final two seasons.
Pos:
Explosive skill player coming off a career campaign. Quick off the snap, works his hands to separate from opponents and plays tough, hard-nosed football. Adjusts to errant throws, extends his hands and makes receptions in stride. Immediately gets to top speed, shows burst and nicely makes receptions downfield at full tilt. Gets up in a crowd and fights to come away with difficult catches. Extends his hands and consistently makes receptions away from his frame.
Neg:
Struggles in battles. Marginally productive until his senior season.
Analysis:
Berrios is a tough, intelligent receiver who can also double as a return specialist. His lack of height is a limiting factor, but he could be productive as a slot receiver who also returns punts.
