Bio:
Four-year starter at left tackle who was named MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year in each of his final three seasons at North Carolina A&T. Earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl in 2017. Named Third Team All-MEAC as a true freshman in 2014.
Pos:
Tall, instinctive blocker with big upside. Quickly sets up in pass protection, consistently sets with a wide base and keeps his feet moving. Stays square, gets his hands into opponents and makes great use of angles. Tremendous position blocker and easily seals opponents from the action. Strong in his upper body and easily knocks opponents from their angles of attack. Plays intelligent football but has a nasty streak and works to finish blocks. Moves relatively well on his feet. Bends his knees and plays with proper pad level. Displays excellent vision and awareness.
Neg:
Lacks quick and fluid footwork off the edge. Does not get much movement as a run blocker and must improve the strength of his base. Occasionally overextends into blocks.
Analysis:
Parker was a very consistent small-school lineman and possesses a next-level body with NFL skills. He must fill out his frame and improve his lower-body power but could eventually develop into a starter at the next level with time and proper coaching.
