First-year starter who earned First Team All-MVFC honors in 2016. Transferred from Nebraska after the 2014 season when he was charged with public indecency, disturbing the peace and failure to appear, which got him banned from Nebraska's Lincoln campus. Finished his senior year with 59 tackles, 10.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Underrated defensive line prospect with a three-down game. Displays tremendous quickness, explodes off the snap and plays with terrific pad level. Fires his hands into blockers, slides down the line of scrimmage in pursuit of the action and constantly plays with leverage. Displays a solid inside move, effectively defends the run and chases the action while displaying a burst of closing speed. Fast up the field, easily changes direction and can bend off the edge.
Lacks bulk and natural strength and gets controlled at the point of attack. Engulfed by larger defenders.
Moss was a disruptive college lineman on the small-school level who did well playing against top competition. He needs to improve his playing strength and add bulk to his frame but could be a last-day steal and produce at defensive end in a four-man line.
