Junior college transfer who held down the starting spot at left tackle in both of his seasons with the Aggies. Earned First Team All-SEC honors in 2016.
Quick-footed college left tackle who offers options at guard. Sets with a wide base, stays square and keeps his feet moving. Smooth off the edge, displays lateral blocking range and effectively gets his hands into defenders. Explosive at the point, turns opponents from the play and seals them from the action. Quick out to the second level displaying the ability to redirect to linebackers and hit a moving target.
Does not bend his knees or consistently play with proper pad level. Exploited by speed rushers and struggled mightily against Tim Williams of Alabama. Seems unsure of himself at times. Average run-blocking strength.
Gennesy showed flashes of ability in the two seasons he started for Texas A&M and comes with nice size as well as growth potential. He needs to improve the nuances of his position but if coached properly, he could break into a starting lineup a year or two into his NFL career.
