Bio:
One-year starter at fullback who rushed 17 times for 89 yards and caught six passes for 76 yards in 2017 to earn an invitation to the NFLPA Bowl. Started nine games and had 17 carries for 58 yards and three scores as a junior. Combined to make four receptions for 30 yards and one touchdown during his first two seasons at Wisconsin and didn’t record a carry.
Pos:
Large, nasty lead blocker who flashes ability carrying the ball. Displays outstanding vision, sees the blitz and squares into defenders to disrupt them from their angles of attack. Quick, accelerates into blocks and lowers his pads into defenders. Explosive at the point. Solid short-yardage ball carrier.
Neg:
Does not time well in the 40 and struggles to create space at the second level. Poor pass catcher out of the backfield.
Analysis:
Ramesh has the style and substance to be a lead blocker and occasional short-yardage ball carrier at the next level. He lacks great athleticism but does the little things well, which gives him the upper hand.
