Bio:
Three-year starter whose numbers declined in each of his final three seasons with the Huskies. Set career highs with 22 receptions and 314 yards in 2015 and scored one touchdown. Combined to catch 20 passes for 243 yards and two scores during his junior and senior seasons.
Pos:
Nice-sized tight end with an underrated game. Strong at the point of attack, stays square blocking and keeps his feet moving. Controls defenders once engaged at the point. Settles into the open spot of the field as a receiver, extends his hands and makes receptions away from his frame. Takes a pounding but holds onto the ball.
Neg:
Average quickness, athleticism and speed. Minimally productive throughout his career.
Analysis:
Bloom gets lost in the shuffle at the tight end position but has enough size and ability to surprise people and catch on as an inexpensive third tight end.
