Bio:
Four-year starter who was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and made 42 tackles (nine for loss) with 2.5 sacks, one interception and three pass breakups in 2017. Earned First Team All-Patriot League honors as both a sophomore and a junior. Led Bucknell with 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks and posted 55 tackles and five PBUs in 2016. Recorded 46 tackles (eight for loss), 4.5 sacks and three pass breakups in 2015. Named Second Team All-Patriot League as a true freshman and made 28 tackles (three for loss).
Pos:
Quick, explosive one-gap defender who can also be used as a three-technique tackle. Fires off the snap with a tremendous first step, gets a lot of momentum going up the field and effectively fights with his hands. Flashes power in his lower body, keeps his feet moving and plays through the whistle. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself, can be an overwhelming force and shows the ability to bull rush blockers off the line.
Neg:
Moderately productive. Not a great pass rusher. Does not consistently play with proper pad level and gets stood up at the line. Often handled by a single blocker.
Analysis:
Anderson showed real potential the past three seasons and has the ability to back up at defensive tackle in a four-man line.
